Honorary Advisor His Excellency Rear AdmIral Mom Luang Usni Pramoj Appointed Privy Councillor to H.M. The King in 1984 and Thai National Artist for 1994 in Western International Music, Rear Admiral M.L. Usni Pramoj became interested in music at an early age, having been given the opportunity to play the violin with his family’s band. During his years studying law; a scholar of jurisprudence at Oxford University in England, he played in his university’s band. Following two years as a Barrister-at-Law in London at Gray’s Inn, he returned to Thailand and helped form a band called “Pro Musica”, becoming manager, soloist, and conductor. He is regarded as a pioneer of western-styled classical music in Thailand, with his own compositions and chorus arrangements of songs written by His Majesty the King, besides others, with examples such as “Kwam Fun Un Sung Sud”, “Rao Su”, “Yam Yen” and “Lom Nao”. His highest achievements included his being the first Thai ever to be invited to perform with a symphony orchestra in the United States; in addition, his ballet “Chantakinnaree” was recorded on compact disc by the Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra. He is a musician whose expertise and talents as a composer, arranger and conductor have been over the years widely acclaimed, a true Master of classical music in Thailand.เร Head Judge Mr. Richard Harvey Prolific Composer, Conductor and Virtuoso Performer Mr.Harvey’s experience ranges from writing a massive eco-musical "Plague and the Moonflower" to co-writing with Hans Zimmer on the biggest box office hit "The Da Vinci Code". His skills as a multi-instrumentalist are often called upon for feature films such as "The Lion King", all the Harry Potter films, "Kingdom of Heaven" and many more. The fact that he has a collection of nearly 600 instruments from around the world and plays most of them means he is highly in demand in this area. He has recorded for and collaborated with Sir Paul McCartney, Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, Kate Bush, Elvis Costello, John Williams, Stanley Myers and numerous others.

Mr. Benedict Cruft Dean of the School of Music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Mr. Cruft comes from a well known family of London musicians. He records music for records, films and television in London, teaches at the Royal College of Music and occasionally composes music for television commercials and the theatre.
